Guest Lecture on Homeostasis

Students of Grade IV had a guest lecture on "Homeostasis" by the school doctor, Dr. Nazia. She informed the students about the mechanism of human body and its process of balancing various body actions. She discussed how the interconnectedness of each system holds responsibility for proper and smooth functioning of human body.

She introduced positive and negative mechanisms of human body, which was new learning for the students: Vasoconstriction and Piloerection. Dr. Nazia also made the students understand about their personal hygiene and healthcare. Overall, the whole session was beneficial for the students in terms of choosing a healthy lifestyle.
