National Science Olympiad Winners’ Reflections — Grade 5

SOF — Science Olympiad Foundation — is a foundation which tests us through many exams related to our daily life subjects at school. The exams are called ‘Olympiads.’ NSO is one of the Olympiads, specialising in Science. I had practiced hard for it. I prepared for the science test using the NSO book. It had helped me prepare for the exam. I finished all the chapters of the book, checked the answers, and finally read all the questions and answers once again. As it is believed…reviewing your work is as important as doing it in the first place.

The day of the exam was really exciting as I felt anxious and eager to unload my knowledge on paper. I checked the website and was thrilled to find out I won the 2nd Rank in the Olympiad. I was really happy as my hard work paid off. I got a Silver medal in the Assembly — it was a moment of pride. This medal motivates me to continue giving these out-of-the-school exams and widening my knowledge.

My friend Sanjay told me that I won the 3rd Rank in the Olympiad. Finally, the day arrived when I was awarded in the Assembly by our School Headmistress, Hema Ma’am —I truly cherish this moment.
