Student Reflections on Spoorthi Session on 24 November, 2013

It was an amazing day from the very start—we as well as Spoorthi kids were very excited for this experience. It gives me happiness as I could to something for the society and help the needy. It was not a one-way learning as I thought it would be, a girl from 9th grade asked a question to which I could give an answer.

One thing that these kids reminded me of was that to never give up; these kids lacking opportunities are still trying their best to study and become successful. After teaching them Science, Math, English and Computers, we even got to play with them which was fun.

I am looking forward to attend many other Spoorthi sessions.

Spoorthi is by far one of the best concepts of CAS known to me. Held on Sundays, Spoorthi is a perfect example of a beginning step of any change. It was a great experience teaching the young and curious children and giving them the opportunity that they deserve. The kids who had come were very astonished to see the school that we study in and would definitely want to study in such a great school. It was a pleasure and a delight teaching them and I am looking forward to attend the session again.
