A Chess Champion in the Making

Laya Iyer of grade 6 E participated in under 11 chess tournament organised by SM Chess Academy. There were about 150 children participating from all around Hyderabad. It was a day-long tournament where four games were played by each participant. Laya won 3 out of 4 games and grabbed the 2nd place. She received a certificate and a trophy.
