Leaders We Are.....

‘There is no feeling better than walking up to receive an award’…that was Saina Nehwal speaking to the students at Oakridge Newton campus on the occasion of the Oakridge Leadership School Closing ceremony on 4 December. The leadership program in school was initiated to give students a comprehensive platform to understand and develop their strengths. The program had Ms. Saina Nehwal as the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Saina reflected on her childhood and the strength and support she received from her family in pursuing and reaching her goal as an internationally acclaimed star. By speaking to her and interacting with her, one is overwhelmed by her simplicity and humility.

Her words and presence will continue to inspire the Oakridgers for she had a message for everyone that there is no limit to hard work and one has to be focused and determined in achieving their pursuits.

The Principal Capt. Rohit Sen Bajaj, the senior management team and Mr. Ameet Bhatia, CEO Aspire Group were a part of the program. The program ended with distribution of certificates to the students who attended the camp by the Principal Capt. Rohit Sen Bajaj and Ms. Saina Nehwal.
