A stitch in time saves nine – Imbibing the habit of cleanliness in children

Any habit or learning, you want a child to imbibe it for the rest of his life, teach him at an early age, so that it influences his mind and gets going as a practice ahead.

It is necessary to help children imbibe the habit of cleanliness at an early age.

Turning hygienic practices into habits at a very early age can prevent diseases and check many other health hazards in the future. These hygienic activities teach kids how to stay sane and healthy. From washing their hands to taking care of hair and skin, kids should perform these on their own.

Oakridge made an effort to make the kid’s cognizant about the minimum care they should take to keep themselves healthy. It was an immense pleasure when the guest speaker Dr. Nazia stepped into the classes of pre-primary and shared with the little ones the simple steps of looking after themselves. The little ones were cautioned as to what is healthy and what is unhealthy for them and they were realized that they themselves are the stewards of their own health. Using special activities to teach these concepts made the process more children friendly as Dr. Nazia demonstrated with various artifacts to explain them.

A timely effort is going to save more work latter, so it is wise to stay healthy, wealthy and wise.
