On
the onset of the new unit of inquiry,Past
Civilizations, Grade VI students experienced some hands on excavation in
the school campus near the Skating Rink. After gathering information on the
kits to excavate students started excavating hidden artifacts. It was very
interesting and exciting during the session. The unit has
many things in store to explore and discover. We look forward to making the
learning a meaningful one with a sense of responsibility.
We developed
Social Skills because we all cooperated, respected and made decisions
altogether- Zaid, 6C
While
excavating our school garden area we were really curious to know what all we
would dig out. It was a wonderful team-work- Freiya, 6C
All of us
developed Social Skills by accepting responsibilities, cooperating with our
buddies, group decision making and adopting a variety of group role- Amogh, 6B
The
attitudes we developed were curiosity to explore and enthusiasm to dig out stuff
from the ground- Ansh and Siddh, 6B
“This was
the best experience ever!”- Hrithik, 6B
The
excavation was so much fun and interesting. We felt like real archaeologist. We
were very happy when we found certain artifacts. We wanted to dig more and more-
Abhinav, 6C
