Terrorist Attacks In The City……Young Oakridgers Speak Up



“Dilshuknagar is a very crowded place, it also has a lot of noble people staying in it. This bomb blast was very sad as many families lost their dear ones. There were twin bomb blasts. We all prayed for the people who lost their lives in these blasts or injured for their fast recovery. We stood in silence to mourn the death of these noble people. I only wish and hope that the bad people these incidents are punished for their evil deeds and never forgiven” - Kriti Tayel

“I feel very about the unfortunate incident because all the families who lost their dear ones are shocked especially the children. I can’t think how difficult it was for older people or small children to escape. There were 84 people injured so badly on their legs, hands and head. Hope they gain strength and recover soon. Today morning our school members prayed for the departed ones to rest in peace” - Shreya Rao B

“I felt very sad about the bomb blast in Dilshuknagar. Many people died in this incident. They were very innocent people and children. When I was watching the news on TV I saw many dead and injured bodies. I don’t know who the people are or where they live but they should never put bombs again” - Abhiraam Thadur

“I feel bad for the people who died in the bomb blast. As there were 7 bombs planted and 84 are injured and 22 people died. When people and young children crossing the road and bomb blew of these children didn’t know where to go. After hearing to all this I am worried what more beyond this will happen. In the assembly we were empathetic by praying for peaceful city to be restored soon” - Shreya A

“I feel sad for the people who died and the ones who are suffering. As the first bomb blew off, all people rushed in different directions, with mothers carrying their small children in their arms. Children were also a victim of this incident. Shalini ma’am started the morning assembly by mourning for the ones who left this world by standing in silence for a minute” - Samyak Jain

“Do you know what happened on 21.2.13? Two bombs blasted in a very busy place in Dilshuknagar. The twin bomb blasts resulted in killing 13 and injuring over 84 people. Fortunately one bomb was defused. We paid respect by observing silence for a minute for all the victims. We prayed for the well being and health of the injured. Be alarmed and take care of near and dear ones!!!” -  Sania Ali Khan

This incident has impacted many such young minds that have reacted in their own way. Our young Oakridgers feel that it is the responsibility of every citizen of the city in fact country to be cautious and help live in a safe environment. As we pray for the departed soul and faster recovery of the injured, let’s spread awareness against any such incidences happening in future.
