On 11th August 2011, Oakridge International School celebrated the ‘art day’. During the assembly, Palashika Bhat (IBDP 11) gave a wonderful speech on importance of art in our life and how we should appreciate art all around us.
Moreover, Grace Jung, one of OIS’s IBDP graduates from OIS, happily shared two of her art pieces with the school. Since she is preparing for admission to one of the best art colleges in South Korea at the moment, her mother, Mrs. Esther Jung handed over these paintings to Capt. Rohit S. Bajaj, Principal, OIS. Mrs. Esther Jung also expressed her gratitude to all the teachers and students who encouraged Grace all the time and was happy to present her daughter’s art works to the school.
One of the art pieces reflects Grace’s expression on happiness amidst chaos, while the other is her reflection on her younger brother, Joseph.
