My invention at PAT Class

The PAT classes are going on in full swing! We sixth graders in PAT are enjoying the tricky puzzles and imaginative games. Today, we had SCAMPER activity which stands for:

Substitute
Combine
Adapt
Modify, Magnify or Miniaturize
Put to other uses
Eliminate
Reverse or Rearrange

We were asked to make inventions using these criteria. Our imaginations were running wild, and we made lots of inventions. I chose combine and made a chalk-marker-duster in one device. At the press of a button, we could use it to write on black boards, white boards and also as a duster. So the teacher could carry one of these.

I also came up with a special notepad with a lens attached to it, which could take a picture of the board in class and transfer that into notes in the book. This would save us from copying notes.

The third invention that I came up with was a bracelet with beads which display messages on them. With a button to control the on-off mode, we can communicate with it or can read our mind to display images.
