This unit of government has come to an end, but
it is never too late to take action. As all units of inquiry and as a PYP
student, we can keep on taking action. This unit of government was very
exciting from the beginning. We had a lot of interesting activities like the
provocation, where we had to put our understanding on ‘VALUABLE FREEDOM’. Like
other units we integrate a lot with one subject, so in this unit of government
we connected with visual arts.
Some of us often don’t know about different types of government and it’s
function, but it is a must for all of us citizens to know about our government
because a government provides us with almost everything we need to survive
like, water, food, electricity, goods and more. We also learnt about different
governments and it’s types. We also had to think logically for different
activities like for our formative assessment. In one activity we enjoyed
framing rights and duties at home, school and with our friends.
Last but
not the least , there was a very fun summative assessment. This unit of
government was very fun and informative.
