We the students of Grade VII squared
the floor of our shed. We wanted to confirm using the Pythagorean relationship
that the corners of our shed are right angles for our shed to be constructed
strong and sturdy. If the Pythagorean Theorem holds, then the sum of square of the sides should be equal to the square of the diagonals.
We measured the two sides and the
containing diagonal of the drawn square. Upon measuring, the Pythagoras Theorem was found to be true.
This meant that the containing angle is 90°.
This proved the drawn figure is a SQUARE.
So we could go ahead and start building the shed.
