LEARNING TO LEARN WEEK, DANCE

Students enjoyed their learning to learn week during their dance sessions where different grades had different things in store for them.

The Grade 1 students explored the dance steps with the game’ in the tank on the bank game’ with hula hoops where students moved in and out of the hoops following the varied instructions called out.

The Grade 2 students explored a variety of dance steps during the fun game –‘Newspaper Dancing’ where the students created and innovated dance steps to be part of the game.

The Grade 3 students created interesting rhythm through clap, click, jump, stamp, verbal sounds in groups and presented it through a dance form of their choice.

The Grade 4 students connected with their peers through innovative introduction of themselves using dance steps of their choice.

The Grade 5 students came up with innovative dance steps during the game ‘Match my Feet’.

Where the students formed a circle and followed the leader in the center, the other mirrored his dance steps and they exchanged places with the one with the accurate image. This gave them the freedom to explore and do their own dance steps.

The Grade 6 students connected with their peers through fun games with dance moves.
