We
had the pleasure to have Dr. Mohammed Akhter Ali, Assistant Professor, Dept of
Geography, Osmania University as a Guest Lecturer on Cartography. Students of
Grade VI enjoyed the talk. They could see the satellite images and the
photographs of important buildings in Hyderabad. They were very enthusiastic in
answering to his questions on topography, orientation of map/direction etc.
They were more elated because they covered the topic on maps recently and so
they could relate it.Venue: MPH, OIS, Newton Campus
