Independence
Day is the day to rejoice the victory of our country 67 years back. Children of
pre-primary celebrated independence day on 14 August 2014.There was a special
programme held where some of the parents along with their child dressed in
their traditional attire of their respective provinces. It was amazing to hear
them speak about their state which showed great respect and unity towards the
country. Parents did ramp walk along with their children and spoke about the
state they belong to. One of our esteemed parent voluntered and shared a poem
of Rabindranath tagore .
We got to hear some of our parents
singing patriotic songs for all of us. Our children whole heartedly
participated and get to see glimpse of freedom fighters. Grade 5 children came
to the respective pre -primary classes and gave lovely presentation.The
programme came to an end with the National Anthem. It was a truly fun filled
day with lots of knowledge gained by our little ones about our country.JAI HIND...!
