Why BBC Head Resigned?

At the BBC office few weeks back there was big trouble. A top BBC presenter was blamed for hurting children. Then the BBC made a program about it with no evidence or proof however they didn't telecast it. A year later ITV channel telecasted a program on the same, and the BBC was criticized for not broadcasting its own program. Earlier this month the BBC telecasted another program alleging a senior politician of also hurting children. The man who had accused the top politician said he had got the wrong man. For which the politician said he would sue the BBC. The boss of BBC was criticized again. So the head was forced to resign.
