Pourquoi Story – language arts integration

Pourquoi is a French word which means “that is why”. As a part of the Language Arts, this particular writing style was taught to the students of grade IV. Pourquoi stories are imaginative stories which tells us why an animal or plant looks like the way it is. For example “Why do zebras have stripes?”
It was a very interesting activity which helped the students to think critically and at the same time to show their creativity and imagination.
