Fun and Frolic with Chintu!!

Oakridge is built on strong support from parents and they are our biggest asset to the organization. Parents are always encouraged to take an active part in their child’s school life and it is on one such occasion that Sahil from PP1B invited his mom Mollishree on Feb 6th, 2012 to share their Turtle “Chintu’ with his friends. This was in connection with their ongoing POI topic “Living things”.

Children had a clear understanding of the needs and characteristics of living things and were able to differentiate with ease from non-living things. Here are few observations made by children: “it moves, and it turns”, ‘it is eating food like us”, “does it sleep, where his bed is??”, and “who are his parents”.

This was a Great visual treat for children who can now show their responsibility and caring towards living things and reflect it everywhere.

PP1 teachers are thankful to Mollishree for sharing this wonderful experience.
