The Grade V students showed immense curiosity in learning banking operations in connection with their math topic Simple Interest. There was a visit organized to the Axis bank and the HDFC bank.
The students carried a questionnaire with them and inquired about transactions, deposits and rate of interest of different categories. They also learnt about banking services like ATM, lockers, cheque books and saving accounts.
The kids were confident in communicating and sharing their ideas with the bank staff. They had a photo shoot and received brochures from the bank on their banking services. This trip was truly amazing.
