We always
thought that PYP was about inquiry and it is concept driven. But our learning reached to a new level of
understanding when we were fortunate enough to attend the “Share Fair” arranged
and organized by a panel of expert strategists headed by our PYPC Ms. Anuradha.
It gave us a
bank of strategies emphasizing to make thinking visible. The session which was
also conducted earlier before gave teachers the driving force behind the
pedagogy of inquiry. As facilitators it brought to us strategies that can be
readily taken back to the class and if implemented it would transfer the
learner’s understanding across boundaries. This will also ignite problem
solving and action.
