A PD session was organized on 29th Dec on
Visible Thinking Routines. The entire junior school homeroom teachers were
sitting in groups’ grade wise with their particular grade strategist, who was
explaining the strategies she has already done in the class with the outcomes
in accordance with the students. The results were truly encouraging as students
thinking were very much visible in their work samples. The strategies shared
were; Compass Points, Creative Hunt, Color, Symbol, Image, Circle of
Viewpoints, Creative Questions. The session ended with another strategy Freeze
Frame, where the participants showed their learning through gesture, movement
or expression.
