Oakridge Newton Stars Shine at Mohali

On the 30th of November, 5 of us accompanied by Hema ma’am, Principal Sir and Heminder ma’am went to Mohali. Guess why!! For the inauguration of Oakridge International School, Mohali campus. We, the students had made presentations to introduce our school to the eager parents. In the evening, we went to Taj Chandigarh for presentations. When the parents came, they were quite excited to understand about Oakridge. They spent a lot of time with each of us. They parents of Mohali showed a lot of interest and eagerness when we were helping them out with their queries. They wanted to know more and more. I think we were a great help to them. We were the superstars of the day.

Next day, was the inauguration day and all of us were very excited. When we saw the school, we were dumbstruck. It was so colorful and so big… Some parents came early; they saw the school and waited for the inauguration. Soon, it was time to start. The Chief Guest was Mr. Ajit Rangnekar, the Dean of ISB. There was Mr. Shomie Das, the MD and the JMD. The crowd was very enthusiastic during the inauguration. We had the lighting of the lamp, some speeches and the cultural… The inauguration was a very memorable one.

The next day we returned back to Hyderabad. I was sad to leave such a beautiful place. The entire trip was wonderful, fantastic, marvelous and an unforgettable experience”- Bhavya Tibrewala (Grade VI C)
