The
Road Safety Campaign has been initiated at Oakridge International School not
only to create awareness within the school but to do so outside too, by
reaching out to different sections of the society. A series of Road Safety
Competitions were organized within the school on 4th and 5th
of April; like slogan making, poster making, flyer making, photography and
documentary making. The awareness and sensitization initiative was taken by the
students to the corporate offices by visiting them on 8th April 2013.
The students visited Mahindra Satyam and INVESCO today and presented the risks
one exposes to when not observing the safety precautions, road safety etiquette and measures to be adopted; to prevent the
high risk we expose ourselves to VOLUNTARILY, while being on the
road.
