School Connect with a PYP school

As a part of 21^st century learning and international connectedness Grade 1 was involved with a school connect Project on travelling animals in U.S (ST Ann’s School). The project was about taking the travelling animal to their home and keeping it with them .During those two days they were suppose to take care of it ,take it along with them to different places to make it feel special. The entire class as well as parents participated in the project with full enthusiasm.

In this process they inculcated many profiles and attitudes like being caring, tolerant, ,empathic, open minded and many more  .They were also able to explore the meaning of differences in  culture, life styles by  sharing and collaborating with others around the world through this project. 

This concept for children of this age was very enriching,exciting and was full of many wonderful moments.The opportunity this project provided has opened the door for them.  Thus, preparing them in becoming global citizens and lifelong learners.
