Inter House Dance Competition

“Great dancers are not great because of their technique; they are great because of their passion”. The Inter House Dance competition was held on 1 August 2014 in the school multipurpose hall from 12:30 pm till 3:00 pm. This event was graced by our Vice Principal of CBSE curriculum Ms Hema Chennupathy. The show was hosted by our Alumni Ankita and Pooja.
The contestants literally gave their heart and soul as they presented absolutely amazing stage performances.
The competition was conducted under three categories:
CAT A: Grades 6, 7 & 8 (Western Dance)
CAT B: Grades 9 & 10 (Indian Folk Dance)
CAT C: Grade 11 & 12 (Fusion Indian & Western)
The dance competition was judged by our very own dance teachers of senior school, Ms Veda who is an expert in Kuchipudi Dance, Mr. Mallesh an expert in Western styles of dancing and Mr. Lakshman our CCEP Zumba instructor. The judges had the most difficult task since all dances were well synchronised, choreographed and performed to perfection.
The participants rehearsed day in and day out under the guidance of their much fondly admired House Masters for the competition. It was a memorable day for one and all as the entire senior school was present to witness this event. The competition was a great success as the dances were full of enthusiasm and vigour.
At the end of this spectacular show, the comperes thanked our Vice Principal Ms Hema and the judges.The results for the inter-house dance competition are as follows:-
