Welcome To Middle Year Program

We consider it a great privilege to welcome our wonderful children of class VI, which incidentally is a maiden MYP program - as a matter of fact, we were agog to see our children back in the school. After all, long hours spent by the teachers for many a month in preparation, brainstorming on the planning and the freezing of the curriculum, sifting through numerous textbooks and cherry-picking the right books for our children was finally seeing the light of the day!!!
The parents were invited for a familiarization session, prior reopening of school, on the maiden (MYP) Middle-Year Program. They were explained in great detail on the program on what/ how their children would be taught and what they could expect at the end of the program. The enthusiasm displayed by the parents reaffirms our resolve to give our children the very best of the education coupled with  the rich value system.
The first day of the children was spent on acclimatization and ice breaking. Besides the teachers, the vice principal, Mr Biju Baby and MYP coordinator Ms Baljit visited classes and introduced themselves to the students.
The class teachers enlightened the children in the middle school, which is an exciting time full of new challenges and experiences. The teachers stressed that every effort will be made to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment to meet your individual needs - they, in turn, are expected to actively participate in the classroom.
The teachers thereafter handed out brochures which contain a teacher’s pledge in handling students, classroom rules, names of teachers, essential agreements, structure of school day etc.,
In summary, we are excited to be with our children and look forward to engaging them with all the tools that we have at our disposal to make the learning process enjoyable and productive.
