Money Matters

Today, in connection to our current topic “Currency,” some of our friends gathered many forms of money from different countries and the ancient form of money, cowrie shells. We observed a lot of interesting things in the notes, namely different but unique notations which enable us to know which specific currency it belongs to and we even noticed some unique things about each note that makes it counterfeit-proof like hidden images of animals or rulers, different textures and signatures and inscriptions which can’t be copied.

We saw different notations of each currency like Thai Baht, US Dollar, Malaysian Ringgit, Sri Lankan Rupees, etc. We had fun trying to find out about their countries of origin and features.
