On
November 14, 2013, Oakridge International School launched “The Acorn Book of
Short Stories,” a delightful collection of amazing short stories written by
children of age 6-14 years at a short story writing contest conducted by
Oakridge International School in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
The
book was launched by Oakridge’s principal Mrs. C. Adilakshmi. Mrs.
Adilakshmi said that "The stories are based on imaginations of the
children on their way to school. The travel made them think, write stories and
become authors. Many parents stood as a strong support in encouraging their
children." Trophies were awarded
to the winners at the exciting book launch event at Oakridge Einstein Campus,
Bachupally.
