The dandiya-tapping numbers,
The drum beats
The traditional Gujarati lyrics,
The humming tunes and
The sound of the dandiya sticks filled up
thee air
In
addition to this traditionally attired Oakridgers
added colour and flavour to the festive celebrations of Dussehra!!
The onset of winters and the beautiful weather stimulated
the children and the teachers alike to inexhaustible fun and excitement with
foot tapping numbers of Dandiya .The energizing music played from the famous dandiya
numbers of Bollywood mixed with dhol beats made the young Oakridgers tap their feet to the rhythm of the sticks. Some of them were
lucky to be judged as the best dancer and best dressed student. To conclude at
Oakridge its fun and masti unlimited for everyone alike as we break for the
autumn vacations!
