The experience of Global Children’s Challenge

GCC is an amazing challenge for children. GCC stands for global children's challenge. It is a challenge to cross the ending point on the GCC map. The GCC map shows the stages to be crossed to reach the end goal.
This voyage takes us from one continent to the other. My son 'Ronak' and I are amazed how GCC came up with this idea of giving each kid a pedometer to try and lead a healthy lifestyle while taking part in this challenge.
During this process, they are learning how to be active. Every day the class checks its average steps taken and how they stand against the rest of the class in their school as well as schools around the world.
Time and again children are updated with the current stage details as well as next stage. This information is shown through facts as well as pictures. The winning class would be rewarded with golden pedometers that they could keep and cherish forever.
Most of the children of my son's class are taking action by walking much more than they usually would do. The spirit of teamwork can be seen while they all work together to reach their goal.
I would love to see such activities that keep the kids active, challenged and motivated all combined.
