"Today was the big
day “SPORTS DAY!” The day started with the School song followed by our
coordinator, Shalini Madam’s speech. Then I went on to the podium to give
my speech on the "GLOBAL Children’s Challenge". After my speech the
Prefects lighted the Torch and all of us took oath. Then students of Grade V
released birds. This was followed by various races including individual races,
group races and class events. The parent and teacher races were the highlight
of the day. All in all the sports day encouraged us to stay fit and practice
integrity. And all throughout, our Pedometers were with us encouraging us
to be more active."
