Grade I's Sports Day

Oakridge International School, celebrated the Sports Day for the Grade I children on 12^th October 2012. The event took place in the school’s soccer field. Once the parents were all settled in, our coordinator Mrs. Vasundhara welcomed all with an opening speech and gave words of encouragement for our tiny participants. The program started with the balloon releasing by the little nursery kids followed by the school choir singing the school song.

 Meanwhile, the students got prepared for a super excited mass drill, taekwondo, pompom & yoga display. The hot but pleasant weather did not stop the little ones performing and putting their level best on the field. They were trained long and hard for this day.

Various events were held after the mass drill like the inter section races, a variety of relay races which was followed by the parents races. Our energetic and enthusiastic parents grabbed few medals which created an electrifying atmosphere on the field. Once everything was done, they had a prize giving ceremony to all the winners for the events.

This sports event marked the end to the Junior Sports Fest Extravaganza held in the school.
