A
visit to the chocolate factory is a dream come true for the little ones of
PP2’s. On Thursday 28 February 2013 PP2 Children visited Duke’s chocolate
factory. The enthusiasm started a day before with parents ringing in to share
how their children were excited about the field trip. Their minds were filled
with thoughts about how the factory would look like and how chocolates are
made.
Children
uncovered the world of chocolate and candy delights and enjoyed a fun packed
learning experience. The company
appointed their technical guide to explain and guide our tiny tots through the
factory. The journey of chocolate started off with the key ingredients that are
essential to make a chocolate. And there on went ahead with different processes
such as mixing, making of syrup, adding different flavors, kneading, putting
them in moulds, freezing and packing of the final product. Children treated themselves to the wonderful sights,
smells and tastes of the place where chocolate comes to life.
We
extend our hearty thanks to Mr&Mrs Siddarth Gupta, parents of Ahana (PP2A)
for arranging this memorable trip. And I ‘am sure this
field trip will remain as one of their favorites with the aromas of chocolate all
over the place in the years to come.
