“Parental
effort is consistently associated with higher levels of achievement, and the
magnitude of the effect of parental effort is substantial. When schools, families, and
community groups work together to support learning, children tend to do better
in school, stay in school longer, and like school more." regardless of
family income or background, "students with involved parents are more
likely to earn higher grades have better social skills, show improved behavior.
We thoroughly appreciate
the efforts of our enthusiastic parents who chose to partner the teachers in
the process of education. They took an initiative to spare time from their busy
schedule, rehearse for hours to present a very informative street play on
wastage of water. It was wonderfully written and amazingly performed which
enthralled the students and made them aware of the need of the hour –using water
judiciously.
