Children
of all grades in the Junior School were given a surprise out of the blue!
Suddenly, a fire alarm broke out in all the classes and corridors. While some
students were panicking as if the world was going to end, some were just relaxing
and walking as if nothing had even happened. The teachers and faculty also
helped in vacating the students out of the school as fast as possible. Only
when the students reached the football field did they realize that this
evacuation was just a Fire Drill.
After
settling down in the football field, the students were given a brief
explanation on various types of fires and how different fire extinguishers look
like. Headmistress, Mrs. Hema Sanjay, also spoke a few lines on keeping safe
during school hours. Finally, I think that safety is our priority and we should
thank our prodigious school for keeping us safe during all times!
