Last
week, the students of class VA and VJ attended a guest lecture by Dr Karuna
Saksena. It was about plants and flowers. She explained to us the importance of
plants and their different systems. She explained why leaves are called the
kitchen of the plant. Dr Karuna Saksena
also showed a video about the hibiscus flower and its parts. She told us how
pollination occurs and why is it important for plants. We also got to know
about the life cycle of plants. We gained lot of information from the session
and it was a wonderful experience. I wish we get to attend more sessions like
