IB MYP Parent Orientation Program – 25th June’2014

The Parent Orientation Program was conducted by OIS for IBMYP at OIS Newton campus on 25^th June, 2014. It was aimed at enlightening the parent community and creating awareness about the IBMYP Program. At the same time, it was also an effort to make the parents aware of OIS’ approach to IBMYP.
The management of OIS has put in all efforts and allocated the necessary resources in terms of dedicated, qualified and competent faculty and the required tools and Infrastructure to facilitate the smooth roll out of the IB MYP Program during the current academic year. OIS’ dedication and preparedness towards IBMYP Program was reflected in the various presentations carried out by the Vice Principal, the Coordinator and faculty members during the Parent Orientation Program.
Not only did the presentations talk about the benefits of IBMYP vi's-à-vis other prevalent programs, but a well thought and planned approach in conducting this Program was shared with the Parent Community.
The response from the Parent Community was very encouraging. Not only did the parents turned up in large numbers, they got themselves engaged all through the presentations. Though the parents were inquisitive about the entire program, but appeared to be satisfied with OIS approach.
