The start of a new
school year is a bittersweet experience for most students. On one hand, they
miss having summer vacation and going on holiday tours. On the other hand, the
start of a new school year is also filled with exciting possibilities--new
classroom, new friends, new units of inquiry, and new opportunities to make a
difference in their lives.
Students of Grade 3 have had a great beginning and are excited to inquire about their first unit of inquiry. As part of the provocation into the unit, the students watched different videos and as good observers that they are, have observed different living and non-living things in the video. Here is a glimpse of how our students are enthusiastic to learn more about the characteristics of living and non-living things through group work, videos and experimenting.
