The announcement was made about the Rajasthan trip. Every one was very excited and finally the day came. It was October 2nd and all of us were busy packing. We finally reached the airport at around 6:00pm. There we were informed about the groups we were in and our teacher in charge. The name of our group was Jaisalmer warriors. We boarded a direct flight to Jaipur. We reached Jaipur at 9:50 pm and checked in a hotel called the “Holiday inn “which was truly awesome. We decided who we want to stay with and we got our room keys. We took some rest and the next day morning we all assembled near the banquet hall for the yummy breakfast. After breakfast we got into the coach and started to Amer fort which was one of the ancient forts. It has a very rich history. Then we did some shopping and bought few things. Immediately we went to the hotel and had a delicious lunch. Next, we started to the most exciting place “Ranthambore” . It was a very long journey but we didn’t feel so as we played many games during the journey. Then we reached the hotel “Nahragarh palace”. We were very happy meeting the queen of the palace. We got our keys and went into our rooms. These rooms were very huge and comfortable. In the night, we enjoyed a tribal dance performance followed by dinner. Then we slept as we had to wake up by 5:00 am. The next day morning we had some tea and were also told about a competition and started for safari session in the Rantambore National Park. We went in huge open canters. We saw a large variety of animals and experienced the forest environment. Then we returned to the hotel around 9:00 and had breakfast. We freshened up and took some rest. After a tummy filling lunch we went for the second safari. We had lots of fun. Then we came back to the hotel .In the night, a bonfire was organised for us. We also had the competition where we showed our experiences in Rajasthan through role-plays. Next day morning we went to Ranthambore Fort and then had a small shopping session and ate our lunch. With fond memories of Ranthambore, we started back for Jaipur and checked in our hotel at night. After having a delicious and nice dinner we went off to sleep. On the last day we went to Jantar mantar and learnt about science and astronomy. Then we went to City Palace museum .We then packed our heavy suitcases and went down for lunch. After some time, we started for the airport and on the way saw Hawa mahal which has 1000 windows. We spent some time at the airport and got into our flight. We reached Hyderabad with lots of stories to talk and presents to give. I definitely learnt how to be independent and responsible from this trip. Our trip was truly enjoyable and we look forward to many such trips.
