Amita Gondi bags Gold at Swimming Nationals

Amita Gondi of VII participated in the CBSE Swimming Nationals held at Indira National School Pune from 6 Nov to 9 Nov 2012. In U12 Category. 

She won Gold in 50 mt  Butterfly  ( CBSE National Record 34.14 Sec ) She won Gold in 50mt Free Style She won Silver in 100mt Free Style Awarded Best Swimmer of the Competition.

She started when she was 7 yrs old, every day she practices for 4 hrs, participated in more than 20 swimming competitions.

Tis year she participated in 2 state level and 2 national level competitions. In state level  she got 7 Gold and in nationals level 2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze. Till today she got 9 records in state level, and in national level she got 1, that is in CBSE National.

She also participated in the Olympic Trials held at Gachibowli Stadium from 1 June to 3 June 2012. She got Silver in 200mt Butterfly. there were 10 States and 21 participants IT WAS OPEN COMPETITION.
