Really Nice to see children coming up with different experiments. There was lots of enthusiasm amongst the children. Children were really confident and there was not shyness amongst the children. It was nice to see them doing stuff by themselves. Some of the experiments were really good and thought provoking.
One thing I noticed was that children were not fully aware of the concepts behind their experiments. Though this was their first time exhibiting their experiments, but they could have been more prepared a bit more specially for their own experiments.
It was the first time that I had seen something of this kind. The preparation had started a week before. The euphoria was building each day and on the day, it was amazing to see the kids talking science. It was music to the ears when I heard the kids talking the terms with such alacrity and clarity of thoughts.
Science is A mystery the earlier it captures the kids interest and enthusiasm the more the number of scientists. I think experiment day had done just that , it tinkered and tickled them .
It was just not the experiment there was whole lot of stuff that the kids had learnt , ability to set up the experiment and manage the entire proceedings . Their confidence was infectious and in turn made us parents very proud. That small inkling doubt whether the kids would like science has faded.
Great work budding scientists . Teachers , the invisible planners , thank you for creating an interest for science in the kids . Collective efforts of the teachers and the kids and of course the parents was very visible.
