In
connection with their UOI on balanced choices students of grade II were
divide into two groups and one group danced while the other group watched. Later
the second group also joined them in dancing.
At
the end of their dance session, they all reflected as a group, about how
their body felt when they danced, and also when they were sitting. Students
expressed they felt happy and energetic while dancing, and would always
choose to dance and not sit. When the facilitator probed them what the school
would be without dance? Most of them said it would be really dull and no fun,
few spoke about the importance of doing the physical activity.
