“We, the students
of Grade VI from water scarcity issue of the PYP exhibition, went for a field
trip to L&T apartments, Gachibowli to see the sewage treatment plant (STP).
We had a very informative and curious trip. We learnt about the process of the
STP. It was just a 5-10 minute process which had a big impact that is: it
purified dirty sewage water to clean water which can be used for purposes like
gardening and flushes. So, we learnt that sewage treatment plant is a system which
conserves and recycles water. By seeing this, we learnt a new way to conserve
water and helped us to spread awareness about conserving water"-
