VIRTUAL AUTHOR VISIT FOR GRADE II

Grade II children got an opportunity to converse through Skype with an award winning author Ms. Deepa Agarwal on their ongoing POI topic “Stories” in the Junior School Library.  Children read few of her books and asked questions on the books. Some of the children started asking the questions such as “Do you express stories by any other ways?”, “What made you become a writer?”, “Who inspired you to become a writer?” etc.. Children were happy to know that Ms. Deepa writes Biographies apart from Fiction. The author showed her books and kids were glad to see her books including the books published in Hindi and also in Telugu “A real Giraffe”.  The learners were satisfied with the tips given by the author to write stories. It was a wonderful session and children are now ready to write a story.
