Books
are a man’s best friends and our students are enjoying this pal to the fullest
these days .As a part of our theme numerous stories are being read, shared and
written by the young authors. During this amazing unit we got the pleasure to
meet the renowned author Ms.Prachi Joshi Johar. Absolutely in contradiction of
the general perception of an author being a very serious personality she turned
out to be a jovial lady. Her fun filled, edifying session ended
so quickly that we all wished she could stay longer. She not only filled the
students with ideas to create an interesting story but also involved them to
weave a story then and there. She begun with encouraging the students to come
up with a word then connecting the words
and students couldn’t even realise when they become authors of a new ,never
heard before story .It was such an marvelous session which inspired our kids
and they came up with reflections like “I want to become an author.”
