Boom! Boom! It's
Diwali!!! To celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali it requires really less effort.
People forget about the noise pollution that is caused by the crackers. This
"Festival of lights" takes up a lot of light i.e. electricity. The
eco- friendly way of lighting up the houses should be by lighting diyas (clay
lamps) which does not consume any electricity. People should not buy such loud
crackers. This can make us temporarily deaf or even have a permanent effect! Do
not celebrate Diwali with crackers. Do you even know where crackers come from?
They come from factories where children under the age of 14 work are forced to
make these crackers. These crackers are made with deadly chemicals that can
cause diseases to these children. On top of that children aged 14 and under are
not allowed to work in factories!! We have to be very careful next time we
celebrate Diwali because it may be fun to a few but it does a lot of damage to
the world. A safe Diwali can make the Earth Green!!
A green Diwali , A clean
Earth.

I believe we should celebrate the true spirit of
Diwali with the belief that we should celebrate in an eco-friendly enthusiastic
way. For example, instead of putting electrical lights in your house and
leaving them on for a long time, we can use oil lamps and leave them on for a
short time. That way we consume less electricity! Also, fireworks pollute the
atmosphere and make the air less polluted, so why not use sparklers? It’s very
fun and creates less pollution on Earth. This way we can still enjoy and have
fun at the time of Diwali! Many people leave the remains of the bombs and
explosions on the ground. This is a very wrong thing to do because the
chemicals that remain in the remains of the bombs can cause metal fume fever
and diseases that harm us- Humans! It also causes bad effects on Earth and affects
our way of living. So we should celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly way or
Earth would not be safe for us to live on. Keep Earth green. Celebrate Diwali
in a healthy way! Keep Earth safe!
