On 23rd October 2013,
we had a guest lecture by Ms. Rama Koneru, a noted environmentalist. This is line
with the 4th line of Unit of Inquiry - Conservation of natural vegetation and
wildlife.
The lecture covered a wide array of
issues on the topic.
She spoke in great detail on the
possible ways of saving plants, animals and forests. She also dwelled on the
global warming and impact on earth and our life if the forest vegetation was
destroyed. We learnt a lot about the wildlife and forests and interesting
facts. The anecdotes chosen made the lecture interesting and created a lasting
impact on us
In conclusion, it was a very
interesting and interactive guest lecture which gave deep insights on the
topic.
