Children Bursting into Tears When Provoked for their Issue (Child labour): They could feel the pain…

Today is the third day of PYP Exhibition. This day we all got ready to frame our matrix on ‘Child labour’. The matrix includes the theme, central idea, lines of inquiry, concepts, attitudes, profiles and skills. We all were really quick in framing the matrix. My friends and I gave suggestions to each other so that we could frame some sensible matrix and can move faster. And we all were done with completing the matrix. And then came the next task to frame student questions; we thought of using a strategy 1-3-6 consensus. And this class ended with a small reflection of everyone by using the strategy of NEWS — N: Need to know E: Excited W: Worried S: Suggestions.

Then coming to the fourth day, I was very excited about what new topic we will start. And the day started with a small recap. Then my friend Aryan. K showed us all a video on ‘Child labour’. This video was one of the best videos I have seen. This video was so emotional that tears were dropping from our eyes. I am sure that most of them will take an action on this. Then came a grouping for exhibition: This grouping had four main topics and they are Mines, Factories, Trafficking and Education.

And after we were grouped, we all decided on the lines of inquiry on our chosen topic. My group went in an orderly way where we gave suggestions to each other and framed them up quickly and we were done and in the last few minutes we all wrote the reflections about how we felt on the video we have seen.We are all really excited for the coming day to have fun learning.
