I had the privilege of being a
part of the assembly conducted by Grade 6D. Our assembly was about Compassion.
Compassion is doing something to someone to make them happy. We presented a
short and sweet moral story, about the ‘giving tree’. It was about a selfish
boy and a compassionate tree.
We sang a bright and cheerful song. “Make me a
channel of your peace.” It filled all the hearts with joy, happiness, comfort
and compassion! We also presented a poem on compassion and what would be its
positive effects around the globe. Everyone enjoyed the assembly. I can’t wait
for our turn to present our next assembly.
