Student Reflection on the Stepping Stone…PYP Exhibition!!

The PYP exhibition was announced. I was confused, and excited at the same time.
Confused because I did not know what the whole thing was about, and excited because it sounded like a lot of fun, something new, something different.

With time the entire concept of the exhibition became clear. Confusion seized and enjoyment took its place. Our teacher gave us theme descriptors, and thus we were clear on the topic that interested us.

My topic is personalities. The first thing we did once every one had selected their topic of interest—we all got comfortable with our group by introducing ourselves. Our team mentor was then announced, and it was our very own class teacher Supriya Ma'am. This got me even more excited as I share an amazing rapport with her already.

Our first activity as a group was a team tower. In this we had to build a tower with straws and clay aiming to make it really tall. All the teammates interacted as our aim was the same. This completely broke the ice.

Now the entire matrix is discussed and planning for the inquiry is on the way. I am looking forward to the coming weeks, as the process is now taking shape in my mind. It promises to be fun, informative, and interesting. Really hope once presented, our team receives the maximum applause.
